Ready....

Three days to go before Corissa and Julie leave for Metz and Janelle leaves next Thursday!

Everything seemed much more imminent when the gear arrived. Tracksuits and bodysuits look great. Fall jackets and even suitcases. Gymnastics Canada (with some help from Adidas) has arranged for our athletes to look awesome as they travel, train and compete at Worlds and WAGs. Given that every athlete, coach and Manager will have the same bags we are getting ours embroidered with our names.

The routines are looking better and better. Janelle stuck 3 out of 4 of her prelims routines last night. Sweet.

Did you know that this will be Julie's 5th World Championships? 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009! She has made finals at every one and was Silver Medallist in 2007.

This is Corissa's 2nd Worlds and is the returning Bronze Medallist from 2009 which was her first Worlds after winning WAGs in the 17-18 Age Group in 2007 which was her first WAGs.

Janelle first competed for Canada at the 2007 WAGs in Quebec City. She didn't actually get to leave the country until her 2nd time on the Age Group Team when she travelled to New Zealand for the Indo-Pacific Championships in 2008. Janelle is competing in the 17-18 Age Group at this WAGs and is VERY excited.
